4-column presses with turning tables

Abrapress 4-column machines with turning tables are used for cold pressing of abrasive material. They are characterized by a frontal loading, that is generally manually carried out by the operator. The unloading of the finished product can occur either in manual or automatic mode. Generally, the turning table is positioned on a cart that allows the operator to work outside the machine. The same cart is later positioned underneath the ram. The structure of the press consists of the 4 classic columns, a base, a mobile cross tie and a head containing the ram cylinder.

Pressing in the moulds is carried out by means of a hydraulic-control ram with different diameters and working pressures to meet the customer’s needs. The turning table for the mould positioning can be of different dimensions too.

The mould is generally one but the machine can be set up on two working sides to carry out different production sizes with the same machine.

All subassemblies required in the process such as back pressure, ejector and wheels pick and place can be hydraulically or electrically controlled by means of brushless motors.
