4-column presses

Abrapress 4-column presses for mounted points are used for the cold pressing of abrasive material. They are characterized by a frontal loading which is generally done by the operator by hand. The unloading of the finished product can occur either in manual or automatic mode.

The frontal loading of the materials (abrasive and grinding wheel pins) takes place during the automatic cycle, which is specially designed to stop automatically and require the assistance of the operator.

Pressing in the moulds is carried out by means of a hydraulic-control ram with different diameters and working pressures to meet the customer’s needs.

The mould is generally one but can also have several cavities.

All subassemblies required in the process such as back pressure, ejector and wheels pick and place can be hydraulically or electrically controlled by means of brushless motors.
